Compassionate, caring therapy in a confidential private practice setting
You deserve to feel better.
ABOUT DON
I have more than 30 years experience as a psychotherapist in private practice, during which I have completed several post-graduate training programs to further develop my skills as a clinician. I combine my interest in the latest brain research with trainings in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) and other approaches to offer a focused and effective therapeutic experience. I am also trained to offer Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) in support of the therapy process when appropriate.

Together we will address your hopes and concerns in a constructive, caring way to help you develop new, more adaptive options for living your life more fully.
ABOUT THERAPY
All of us experience difficulties in our lives, but sometimes it is hard to face them alone. I am an active and engaged therapist, and together we will get to know you as well as possible. You can then use this self-awareness to make better, more satisfying choices on a day-to-day basis. Whether you are feeling depressed, anxious, unfocused or dissatisfied, or just want to make the most of your life, this exploration will help you bring out your most adaptive capabilities. We will approach this task with compassionate interest and curiosity and without judgment.

Most psychological symptoms and problems emerge when we move through life on "auto-pilot," relying on old learning from the past. My goal as a therapist is to help you become fully aware of the immediate experience of your life, as we pay thoughtful attention to you from moment to moment.
